Hello! I'm Brandon Harrison, a visual storyteller who creates films that illuminate your message. As a filmmaker, cinematographer, writer, director, storyteller, and visual content creator, I am passionate about making meaningful imagery. I offer a voice to brands, bands, missions, or moments through commercials, documentaries, TV, investigative journalism, feature films, and music videos.
With more than two decades invested in honing the craft of presenting messages in a compelling, engaging, and approachable fashion, I have illustrated concepts that seem abstract, complex, challenging, and controversial - as well as hopeful, comical, whimsical, and inspirational. I have delivered these stories, moments, and messages across various mediums and formats within multiple contexts. Much of that time has involved sharing those messages through digital media and film. I am proficient in several non-linear editing applications (NLE), such as FCPX, DVR, and Premiere. I am competent in their VFX counterparts: Motion, Fusion, and After Effects. I have demonstrated - through ample experience - my skillfulness across the terrain of filmmaking competencies: design, composition, lighting, set design/dressing, scriptwriting, directing, videography, editing, color grading, post-production, and much more.
This site is where I share the story of this journey and demonstrate my unique approach to visual storytelling, providing insights into the creative process and the essence of storytelling that sets my work apart. I'm a husband, father, and adventurer, driven by faith and my love for life's stories and imaginations. With a passion for creative expression, I appreciate the art and risk behind every project. My journey has taken me across the U.S. and around the globe, offering immersion in diverse cultures, industries, and perspectives. These experiences fuel my unique approach to storytelling, whether through words, images, or design. Created to create, I am an aficionado of visual storytelling. Allow me to share a story that has yet to be told: yours.
